I really like the color orange so this painting is a result of that affliction. It was a thrill to jump right in and make that big sweep of trees. Once the oranges made their appearance, it was fun to push off on the other strong yellows, blues and as a counterpoint, the soft limes and aquas below.  
 
The entire oil is alive, after considerable effort, and it was a pleasure to be in the orange world for a time.
