To the purchaser of this oil, thank you!
About this oil:
On my drive between Denver and Santa Fe, I was always amused by this singular pond along the way. It always stood out in the barren landscape and I felt compelled to make an interesting interpretation of the scene.
The very first move was to use the amazing cloud forms from that part of the country and to bring in the greens. Once the painting was underway, there wasn’t any reason to hold back on the colors and as the sky became more blue,
The land masses joined the competitions with more luscious greens, reflective blues and high contrast darks to set everything off. That little pond is quite inviting now.
