About this oil:
Painting with vibrant oils is like conducting a symphony of colors while creating something entirely new. It's akin to bringing together talented actors, each with their own flair, to produce an exciting play.Often the script is discarded in places to better serve the production as it is in this painting.
I began with the idea of an autumn forest scene but allowed the painting to find its own conclusion. In this piece, each hue is guided to shine brilliantly. The dark tree trunks and the frame's edge provide contrast, intensifying the colors' impact.
Though it's winter outside, I chose to immerse myself in the warmth of fall hues, making them the studio's theme for weeks. This painting is a gift for both of us - a burst of life emerging as each color found its perfect place and fullest expression.
